ChatRamen is a friend-based app for chatting, calling, and playing games with people you have connected with. These Community Guidelines explain how to keep ChatRamen safe, inclusive, and positive for everyone. They are part of our Terms of Service and apply across the ChatRamen iPhone app and chatramen.com.
1. Our mission
ChatRamen is a platform for meaningful connections and respectful communication between friends. We strive to create a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all users.
2. Be respectful
- Treat others with kindness and respect.
- Respect boundaries and consent.
- Accept rejection gracefully — including a declined or withdrawn friend request.
- Do not pressure others into unwanted conversations or activities.
3. Stay safe
- Do not share personal information (full name, address, phone number, financial details).
- Be cautious when sharing social media handles.
- Do not arrange in-person meetings with people you've met online without proper precautions.
- Report suspicious behavior immediately.
4. Zero-tolerance policies
The following behaviors result in immediate account termination:
- Child safety: any content involving minors in sexual or suggestive contexts. See Child Safety Standards.
- Non-consensual content: sharing intimate images without consent (revenge porn).
- Threats & violence: threats of harm, promotion of self-harm, or incitement to violence.
- Terrorism: content promoting terrorist organizations or activities.
- Human trafficking: content facilitating exploitation or trafficking.
5. Block & report
- Block any user to stop further contact. A blocked user is removed from every surface of your experience and cannot reach you.
- Report abusive behavior using the in-app report flow available from chats, profiles, and active voice/video calls. A dedicated child-safety category routes reports to a high-priority queue.
- Reports may contribute to enforcement only after confirmed violations or other safety signals meet our review thresholds.
- Our moderation team reviews reports manually within 24 hours.
- False or malicious reports may result in penalties.
6. Enforcement ladder
- First offense: warning or temporary suspension (24–72 hours).
- Second offense: temporary ban (7–30 days).
- Third offense or severe violation: permanent account termination.
7. Appeals
If you believe your account was wrongly suspended or banned, you may appeal by contacting info@peppty.com within 30 days. A human reviewer can evaluate the decision and any diagnostic details included with your appeal.
